2月19日 hay allhay all well Iam back from my chili cook off and Irealy didnt do bad I got second place Dee got third and some guy the cook i think of the bar we was at got first and allso won over all so yes it was riged but it was fun dee had a white chili that was kick ass as i told her I was more pissed that I didnt think of it first Andy the winner he had a spice chili with meat that was more of a left over roast than burger and his was as spice as mine was but it was a great textture and well presented yes I did bread bowls but that wasent good enough to win but it did what i ment it to Spice Beer Chili well now it out with some of them thair that i like to cook and am better camp cook type so i got to chatting and found out one of the other members would like to do a crawfish boil. LOL I can see this look of what on some faces and a look of shear joy on others Ok for thoes of you that dont know what a shrimp or crab, and crowfish boil is . Well it is to some a gathering of friends and famley to have fun or be festive. but to us it a eat and have fun get to geather And now for all that dont know how its done first you get a mess of crawdads or crawfish a large pot of some sort a 55 gallion drum is best for big blow outs so lets just say you wont to feed 30 of your best friends it will take 100 lbs of crawfish that is if every person thair only eats 3 1/2 lbs this may sound like a lot but its not when you see that you still have to shuck the crawdads and thair is corn and potatoes and cabossa with all this in a big pile in the middel of the table it is a lot of fun well it comes to 25 lbs of taters 25 ears of corn brock in 1/2 2 lbs of garlick 2 bags of yellow onionscut into 1/4s bout 8 rings of bllogna cut into 1inch pices and a ton of spices all put in this big pot and cooked to feed the masses thay wont to try it and than if it goes well make it a happening thing on a regulor deal I bet it goes over so big we will have to do it 2or maybe 3 times befor the year is over i cant wait it makes my mouth water just thinking about it and bruce your a member of the ABATE now thanks to a nother good friend of ours hope you and jenn had fun and i know i did so untell later live long and die well my brother Rick The coon guy 引用通告此日志的引用通告 URL 是： http://thecoonguy.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!74F5787B573434B7!275.trak 引用此项的网络日志
